In addition to assisting with the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real estate, our firm undertakes matters involving zoning and land use. This can involve representing a residential property owner before a town zoning board of appeal or planning board or applying for permits from local, state and federal environmental protection agencies for a commercial developer.
Real Estate Litigation
Dispute resolution is an important part of any real estate legal practice. While our real estate lawyers serving Boston and Cambridge are capable and willing to pursue formal litigation on behalf of our clients’ interests, we are also mindful of the potential benefits of pursuing alternate dispute resolution methods when appropriate. We handle issues arising from commercial leases, zoning violation claims, real estate partnership disputes, breach of contract, boundary disputes and all other types of real estate disputes.

Embry is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, also serving on that Association’s National Affairs and Title Insurance Subcommittee, and the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association. Partner William J. Hunt was formerly the Chairman of the Topsfield Board of Health.
